The resort’s swimming pool offers a refreshing oasis to unwind in with stunning views of the lake and wetlands beyond, home to an array of wildlife. The spacious rooms are great to rest and recuperate in with the air-conditioning and invitingly comfortable bed that allows for a good night’s sleep ready for another day of Sri Lankan exploration.

Despite its secluded and scenic surroundings, the Thimbiri Wewa Resort doesn’t miss a step with its culinary offerings. The restaurant provides a choice of dishes for guests, from traditional Sri Lankan to international dishes. With locally sourced ingredients and authentic recipes, guests can enjoy many colourful and flavoursome meals. Whilst the hotel does not currently have a licence to sell alcohol, rooms are equipped with fridges to store drinks during your stay.
