This afternoon we meet our local guide and driver for a scenic journey to Kuang Si waterfalls, taking around 45 minutes to an hour. We travel through lush Laotian countryside, passing rice paddies and villages along the way. We can choose to stop at the Khmu village of Ban Thapaene or one of the Hmong villages to learn more about local life.
On arrival at the Kuang Si waterfalls, marvel at the cascading water tumbling over calcified tiers into the turquoise pools below. If water levels allow, enjoy a refreshing swim in these beautiful natural pools before returning to Luang Prabang, taking with you memories of one of Laos’ most stunning natural wonders.
