Bus out from Dunedin in the afternoon. Travel along the beautiful Otago Peninsula Roads to Wellers Rock Wharf. From here we cruise out of the Otago Harbour, to Taiaroa Head. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the world’s only mainline nesting place of royal albatross. Watch as these huge birds glide in from the ocean and soar high above their hillside nest sites. On our short cruise out to sea you will spot rarely seen ocean birds. We sometimes spot sea lions, blue penguins, dolphins and other marine mammals. After the one hour cruise you return back to the hotel by coach.
